There are many great ways for you to learn Natural Horsemanship. Mattie wants to make sure that you are learning in an environment you feel comfortable with, that you can grow and learn in, and one that you feel to experiment in. This may mean that for some people, you will want private, one-on-one coaching with clear goal setting and problem solving. Other people will really love small groups, studying in either group lessons or in topic-driven Workshops. Finally, some people will flourish in Clinics - several days of studying horsemanship both on the ground and riding in a level with people of similar skills or goals. Private lessons are great for learners who like really intensive learning and drilling into problems or goals. Groups are great for having fun, learning and watching each other, and to have less pressure individually while still growing in your horsemanship.
Lessons
Lessons are structures for individuals or small groups (2 - 4 people). You will be working on your specific problems as well as working toward goals.
Workshops
Workshops are topic specific. They will last either three or six hours with 4 - 6 people. Workshops are a great place to target your learning. Topics can be as simple as "Learning the Basics of Natural Horsemanship on the Ground or Riding" and can be as advanced as "Finesse for Performance Riders," "Rider Makeovers," "Understanding Your Horse's Horsenality," and "Connection". Topics are endless... so let me know if you have something in mind!
Clinics
Clinics are usually topic or skill level specific and can be from one to four days in length. They are great for in-depth learning and lots of group building and encouragement. Skill levels are: beginner (Level 1), beginner-intermediate (Level 2), intermediate (Level 3), and advanced (Level 4). Topics can include "Horsenality," "Trail Riding," Advancing Your Skills," "Purpose-Driven Horsemanship," "Advancing Riding," and "Natural Foundations" among many other topics!
Mattie is happy to travel to you. Hosts are given great benefits and discounts as her way of saying Thank You.
